Taqueria - El Lugar
Mexican - Don Juans (Authentic), El Charros (Authentic Greasy)
BBQ - Stanley's
Breakfast/Coffee - Brady's
Just to name a few.

Clear Springs is a good place for Onion Rings and Cajun food.
The Shed in Edom.
Stanley's for BBQ
Little Italy for excellent italian (not the crap out of a can at olive garden).
Spring Creek for fish

1. Clear Springs is not mom & pop
2. Clear Springs Sucks for anything resembling seafood.
Avoid it for anything food. However, their drink specials are pretty decent.

The migas at Mexico Lindo are the best breakfast in town. No contest.

I just ate at Basil Thai Cafe, where the old Movies 6 was, behind the Burger King/McD's off of 64 east. Excellent Thai food. Owner is a former shogun's chef.

Not many cajun choices in Tyler....Fat Catz is probably the best in town.
man Fat Catz grilled chicken sandwich is ****ING ALLSOME!!
