My family is currently selling our home in Rusk, Tx. If you are looking for a home in the area please consider it. It is a beautiful historic home with a very big yard. It is a rather large home about 5000 square feet, but still in the 350,000 to 400,000 dollar range. There are low property taxes here and I have thoroughly enjoyed this home and wouldn't move if we didnt have to. It is about 45 minutes from Tyler, Lufkin, and Nacogdoches. When you say "historic".....how old we talkin here?

It was originally constructed in 1848 and since then there have been parts added on. One of the first residents of the home was a civil war captain.
