Looks like my job is taking me to Tyler for a few months. Was wondering if anyone had any pointers or anything about areas to live, eat, and things to do. Will probably only be there about 3-6 months so I'm gonna just get a place to rent. Appreciate all the responses!

I hear north Tyler is really nice. You should live there. Try renting room by the week at one of the luxury motels on the corner of Loop 323 and Hwy 69. That's the life.

on a serious note i can't help with apartments sorry... but bruno's pizza, El Charro's, Jucy's, and there are plenty of other hometown places those just to name a few... of course there's outback, otb, and cheddars for some big name places.....WELCOME!!
