Beagle/St. Bernard Mix - Can you believe it? They are absolutely adorable. Sulphur Springs is a gassing and a high kill shelter so they won't have long to live unless someone saves them. Please help these precious pups to have a chance at life. What a mix with the sweetness of the Gentle Giant and the little Beagle. Amazing. Wish I had a place to take them all.

I know this sounds crazy but it happened. The mom is a Beagle Terrier mix looks like a Beagle and has the beagle color. Did not have the beagle ears. Did have the beagle color and height.

This is 4 female 1/2 St. Bernard 1/2 Beagle mix puppies about 2 to 3 months old. Very sweet and loving.
Does anyone know of someone that might be looking for a pup like this?
We are a kill shelter with limited space.

Wish I could take one but I am in California this year. You might want to post this on some other boards on texags, and maybe find some students that can take one in. So sad...

Animal Rescue, does this shelter allow people to foster puppies? The B/CS Shelter does and they supply the food, shots, and kennels. The foster care people just keep and take care of the puppies until they are big enough to be adopted. I'm sure there is someone out there who is willing to do this.

Ag_B....high kill shelter like this one and Brazoria County do not have adoption program and definitely don't have foster programs. These shelters only allow owner claims and rescues to pull from the shelter. I am sure if you would like to foster you can find a rescue to pull for you. Any animal coming out of a shelter in Texas has to be spayed or neutered that is part of the reason they can't do adoption programs but rescues are allowed to pull.

I bet if those were cows Sulphur Springs wouldn't gas them.

As a matter of fact, I bet they would build giant 30 foot statues of them and give them their own museum.

I am not sure if the shelter allows people to foster the puppies. However, if someone is willing to foster them, one of the rescues that I work with could pull them and the person could foster through the rescue.
