I have been working in Kilgore for a few days and staying in a motel in Longview. I ate at this place last night and was really surprised. It was good enough that I would take my M-I-L there and she is hard to please.

1. Their beans w/sausage are some of the best beans I have ever had.
2. Crawfish enchiladas were recommended by my waitress and they were excellent.
3. Service was quick & friendly.

Yeah, they've got great food there... I've never had anything bad. There are now 2 of them, the original one on Hwy 80 is better than the one by the mall.

Highway 80 location is where I ate. I stumbled onto it while on the way to Johnny Case's (sp) steakjoint and detoured in there. Glad I did.

It has the best cajun food I've had in Texas. That being said the last time I ate there I was a little disappointed. Their cole slaw was subpar. I only bring this up because I do not like cole slaw except for Dudley's which is usually amazing.

It was completely different than normal last time I was there.

I love that place, also. I was upset when the one in Tyler closed. I love their meat pies and gumbo. You didn't miss anything by skipping Cace's.

I don't think Casey's has been any good for the last 15 years or so. the owner of Dudleys went to church with us, he started by selling boiled crawfish off a trailer in his front yard. and yeah the crawfish enchiladas are great.

ya dudleys is pretty darn good. ate there last year when i went home for christmas.
