My daughter is recently engaged and is to be married in Tyler next June. We are not from there but the groom is.

Anyone got any suggestions on wedding photographers & videographers in the area that they have any knowledge of.

The GOOD as well as the NOT SO GOOD will be welcome advice.

What a coincidence. My Aggie son is marrying a girl from out of town. Some little spot in the road called Rosebud. Is that strange or what??? I have a disposable box camera you can use if you don't come up with camera dude.

I'm getting married in December and am using Casey Jay Benson. I don't know what your daughter likes as far as style, but he's excellent, is easy to get along with and has more of a photo-journalistic style.

My sister was married at The Villa in Tyler a couple months ago, she used Studio 3 for all of her pictures. They did an amazing job.

She will be getting married at the Villa and has chosen Alex Maldonado as the photographer and Vanessa McKellar as the videographer.

Oh yeh - she has also said that she will give me the honor of paying the bill!!!

I've heard Jeff Ford is an excellent wedding capture er and a pleasent fellow. I do not have his number, but think it's in the Tyler book.

I got married in December and used tvgstudios out of Palestine. I can't remember the guys name but he did excellent work. His prices were very reasonable although he has increased them from when we signed him because he has gotten more popular. His website is tvgstudios.com. His wife is an Aggie.

Glad to hear that you liked his work - he stays pretty busy - he only had a couple of dates left avaliable for all of next summer when we booked him.
