South Texas Ags!!

Another great event the Hidalgo-Star County A&M Club is putting together to raise scholarship funds for future Aggies from South Texas. A shoot named after a great Aggie if you knew him well you called him PRIMOOOO Hector Diaz '79.... Hope to see you all out there on October 31st and stay tuned for special guest information.

Always a great event and a lot of fun! Happy that the skeet shoot has continued and that it is named after Primo in his memory and honor.

PRIMOOOOO!!!

I'm thankful the club honors Primo this way.

I remember that first skeet shoot and the work we put into Primo's ranch all summer long to ensure that first one went off without a hitch. Primo was instrumental in making that one happen. That first one led the way to this becoming an RGV tradition.

With that being said, I'd like us to share stories about Primo:

One of my favorites is the time we'd gone over there to work on the ranch in preparation for the skeet shoot and we all decide to climb in his hunting jeep at around 10 pm (who knows what actual time it was; it was dark) and proceed to ride around the property in all the fancy seats it had. The ones in front of the jeep along with the tall ones on the platform above the jeep. All accompanied by an ice chest full of recreational beverages that were being passed around on the move. One thing I'll say about that time; I'm thankful we were not on the road and am most especially thankful we survived it unscathed.
