The family and I just got back from spi a few days ago. Sea ranch is always good for seafood, large portions, go early to avoid the wait time. Gabriellas has good pizza for dine in or carry out, robust tomato sauce and lots of cheese. If you can break away without the kids, make reservations at F&B for you and the spouse. Absolutely phenomenal dining. I can't believe it is on the island.

Dirty Al's is pretty solid and always busy.

We had a great meal at Padre Island Brewing during a visit in December.

Pier 19 is great at sunset. Cap'n Roy's is also good for casual dining.

Liam's for something more upscale.

Dirty Al's is good, and I go there often when I'm on the Island, but it lives up to its name.
