Taking my 14 and 18 year olds to Padre in a few weeks and I'd like to take them over to Mexico for shopping, looking around. I know rental cars can't be taken in to Mexico so I'm looking for an excursion / guide who could take us down there, avoiding any trouble and bring us back to the hotel when we're done. Matamoros is deader than a door nail nowadays, so you will probably want to drive to Las Flores/Nuevo Progresp. It is about 45 min from SPI. Just park on the US side and walk across. No need for a guide. All you want to see is on one street.
