No shooting involved.

I wonder why this was not covered by the national news. I guess that they found out that the 7 guys were illegal aliens and that was the end of the coverage.

They were covering it until they figured out there was no shooting.

As we landed in Portland we heard people talking about it on our plane and a few minutes later Tim Sullivan broke the news on Twitter that there was no shooting, just glass breakage. It still took a few hours after that for talk of an 'active shooter' at the mall and 'five dead' to calm down.

Video of this event was all over social media pretty quick after it happened.
