Curious what those of you who live in/near Alpine do for a living? I absolutely love the area but have often wondered what I would do if I ever moved out there. Thanks.

I work remotely doing business analyst work from home for a Houston based company. I've met others who moved out here who teach at the schools of there's an opening. Depending what work you do or are looking for, you likely will take a pay cut to work out here. For example Sul Ross has job openings but the pay is low.

That said I think it's worth it. Love the area and it's been a good move for my family. Let me know if you have specific questions on the area

Was out there last week. People at Big Bend Brewing said they were hiring. Was told they may branch off and build a distillery.
