Next week when we BTHOsocaro we should get together to watch the game in Midland- kickoff is at 5pm Thursday... Any thoughts? I am contacting the A&M club president to see if they have picked a place. If not- options incluce: The Bar, Basin Burger (big outside TV), not to sure about Torinos, Triple threat is great but smoking -gross...I could manage that. Let me know thoughts- I will get it going!

Places we have tried, since we have had no cable for 2 football seasons.

1) Chito's - Good Mexican food - no smoking
2) Buffalo Wild Wings - Chicken & Burgers - Choke inducing Smoking (But the most TVs)
3) Torinos - Pizza place - Smoking

Place that would be great if they had a TV setup
Clear Springs Cafe patio - Mmmm onion rings!

I didn't want to be the first to mention BWWs, but they dooo have 60cent boneless wings on Thursdays..

If they use ANY kind of smoke filtering at BWW it does not work. I would guess they don't care.

I hear a gentleman will be hosting a "tailgate" party at his home with a canopy, washers, grill, coolers, and outdoor TV setup as well as the normal house stuff.

(Because after a fairly exhaustive search, few places actually carry the SECN.)

Making Round 1 Attempt at Layne's sauce for the watching party- we will all have to settle for Tyson chicken tenders- I have to work a big girl job tomorrow. Hopefully by the end of the season I will have perfected the sauce!

May be lame and just bring some tater chips. Wouldn't be dumb to prepare for some rain either!

Sent an email but it'd be cool if someone gave me the directions just in case. Gotta run out to buy a chair...
