BTW, I am an old Ag who feasted on Archie's Hamburgers, The Flying Tomato Pizza and DD's Peproni rolls while at A&M in the mid to late 80s.

IMHO, Chipotle > > > > > Freebirds. I spent 4 weeks in Midland between Thanksgiving until just after New Years. Would have loved to have had Chipotle as a dining choice while I was there.

Surprised it isn't in Odessa...along with all other meaningful development.

Odessa has opened a few good restaurants...Jersey Mikes is one.

yep. I went for lunch around 11. about a 20 minute wait, which wasnt too bad.

Walking distance from my place, so I'm pretty stoked about it

expect to wait at least 30 minutes. I went there Sunday night around 7pm and waited that long...next time I go it will probably be around 3pm!

Pro tip: order online or with the app, walk straight to the front.

Note: today they ran out of tortillas because the truck didn't show up.

I ordered online Sunday evening. I got to walk to the front where I waited 20 minutes for my order that was placed 45 minutes earlier. The girl that was making the call in orders was the slowest Chipotle employee I've ever seen. It probably took her 3 minutes to make each burrito.

that's Midland/Odessa for you. I think every new food service/retail employee here needs to go through a customer service 101 orientation or something
