Anyone ever been? I have a hearing in Monahans next Friday and was thinking about taking my wife and driving down for the weekend. We really just want to lay at the pool and drink margaritas. Good spot for relaxing? Any other suggestions? Gage Hotel in Marathon? Paisano in Marfa? Which would more fit our wishes? TIA.

Went on our honeymoon. It is an awesome spot to relax and not do much (or however much you care to do). The food and accommodations are first class, and priced as such.

BTW Cibolo Creek is damn near in Mexico. I would probably stay at the Gage if you're only going for a weekend.
