Is he an Ag? There is an Active A&M club in Angelo. Lots of Ags there.

What 77 said. There is a great A&M Club here in Angelo. Tell him to get in contact with them so that they can add him to their list serve in order to get all the emails about events happening, lucheons, etc.

He did not go to A&M, but played college football and earned his degree at UMHB. He is a big Aggie fan and keeps a close eye on Aggie Football, especially now with Sumlin/Kingsbury in town. He installed the "Air Raid" in Christoval this past spring and the kids are looking strong so far through the first week of practice. I will pass along the info. Being a HS FB coach he loves to network with folks.

We will see what your brother can do with a far below average talent pool. As rediculous as it sounds there is only one school that plays quality ball in this area. Will definitely make it there to see a couple of games though. Good luck to him.

I hope you are wrong in your assessment. I'll be pulling hard for them regardless. If you make it out be sure to let me know how it goes. I'm gonna have a difficult time making it out there for any games.

I'll be pulling for tham as well. I went to school there for some of my grade school years. The " air raid" could make a difference as we know it can.

Heard an interview on the radio with him the other day.

Here is the before mentioned team that plays good football in the area, and they run the Veer and versions thereof...No Fancy passing game

Not sure if we were the first to use that term, but we started in '71 using it at A&M, since no one seemed to know where Wall was and we got tired of saying near San Angelo. A '70 classmate from Wall actually started using it at TT also, so it got widespread use.

Again, not sure we were the first to use it, but proud that Wall graduates are proud to proclaim their alma mater in such a grand manner.

Just now saw your post from a few days ago. I work for a company out of College Station (Paramount Property Analysts) and when I decided to move back we expanded the company and I run the West Texas Division. We do commercial and farm/ranch all over the state.

I am a Realtor, but not a broker yet since they changed all the state requirements. Anything I could help with?

The before mentioned Wall Hawks are moving on to the State Quarterfinals to face Daingerfield next Friday.

These boys play fast and hard and disciplined.

Could be the best team since the Wall America Teams of the 70’s.

I believe wall is in the semis now after the quarters last night.

Proud to have been at the school when Burns started winning football games. Good coach, good teacher, and a good man. It seems like the teams have gotten better the last 10 years. My senior year we were just pumped to make it to the playoffs after all those years of missing. Finally made it a couple deep after that. And finally are getting to quarters and semis.

i've met people from the state of Texas and when talking about where I'm from I usually say San Angelo and get a puzzling look and say well, Wall America actually and they respond, out in West Texas? Mindboggling, but people know about Wall but not Angelo.

Also on Clayton W, one of the nicest guys in the world. And his eldest, who was a looker, went to A&M.
