Well, I found a place and got moved in last weekend. It was only 105 with a spiral staircase so that was plenty of fun.

Now that I'm settled in I would be glad to meet a few Midland/Odessa Ags. If anyone is interested in meeting up for a few drinks I would be happy to buy a few rounds!

Glad you made it. I am out of town the next couple of weekends, but I believe the Midland A&M Club is having a Happy Hour at Bourbon St. Bar & Grill tomorrow (Friday) night. It is at the corner of Main and Wall, I believe.

Thanks for the information! I'll have to try and get in contact with the local Ag club. Unfortunately that cold front moved in 4 days too late, but alas I survived. Hope to meet a few of y'all in the near future.

So, I have heard two references to Bourbon St Bar and Grill. I know of the Wall St Bar & Grill at the corner of Main and Wall. Are these two one in the same?

Bourbon st and wall st are not the same but close together. Bourbon st just opened.

SRY, you probably already figured this out, but Bourbon St. Bar is on Main and Texas (I think)and brand new bar downtown.
Wall Street Bar & Grill is on Wall St. across from the main post office. It is more of a restuarant with a bar. EXCELLENT FOOD btw and has been there forever! Started dating my wife (from Midland) in 1980 and it is one of the places we went to when I came out to meet her family the first time. Wall St. Bar and grill had been here long before that even. Still one of the best restuarants in Midland imo.
