I'm from Midland but do not live there currently. I am looking for some general info on locations of restaurants that have closed up and are for lease or for sale.

Any info or references of where I could find this would be most appreciated.

Thanks!

Cheddars on loop 250 & Midland Drive (SW block) is empty - has been for years now.

I believe a Chinese food restaurant buffet type at the same exit (SE block) is closed now, when the King & I moved in in the same shopping center.

There used to be an Italian place on the backside of the shopping center with Abuelo's in it. (On the North side, Garfield & loop 250)

I think one of the Aggies out here is in real estate, maybe he/she can chime in with more definite answers.

Thanks! That would be great to see if someone in RE had some leads.

If you are taking suggestions ...
Applebys or TGI Fridays would work for me.

Thanks for all the feedback.

Looking at the possibility of bringing Midland something a little different than another "chain" restaurant. We'll see what happens.

For the love of god...no more Mexican food.

I only mentioned those chains since they are the only 2 we seem to be missing that I like. One I forgot that we really miss is a place like the old Steak and Ale - a nice QUIET restaurant that serves really good food.

The good news for you is that nearly every kitchen in every Midland home appears to not work about 5 days a week.
These people, including us, eat out a bunch.

Most new Midland restaurants are nearly SRO in the waiting area for a month or so, probably worse now.
