Tacos OJ hands down. Not Tex-Mex.

as a 19 year resident of FS Mi Casita is the place to go. Not open on weekends or on Mondays but damn that place is good. Ask for some ice cream when you're finished with your meal.

Bienvenidos is ok but since the owner also became the mayor that place has gone to hell

I am interested in this thread, as I will be in ft Stockton within the next few weeks to do a site visit on a funeral home we just bought.

Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend, formerly Gentry Funeral Home.

What else is in this town that might be of interest to someone traveling alone for work?

pretty much nothing except mexican food places. Mi Casita, Bienvenidos, Pacheco's, Tacos OJ are my favorite places to go.

Stixx is probably the only place you'll want to go to grab a beer but DO NOT go to Angel's.

Drive west on I-10 if you want to see a West Texas sunset and east for a sunrise and you've probably covered it.

If you're interested in old west history Annie Riggs Museum and the Fort are two stops that you can waste some time.
