i haven't been in a few years, but ta-molly's and abuelo's were my favorite when we were in town.

Ta-Molly's is now gone also. One of my favorites is the Aggie-owned Vagabond Pizza. Love the food and the atmosphere and always fun to talk Aggie football with Jason (if he isn't running 90 miles an hour getting pizzas out).

This is a fun thread. I lived in Abilene from the time I was born until I graduated from Cooper and went to A&M.

Casa Herrera was our family's favorite Mexican food (best chips and salsa!).

We also frequented Joe's Pizza, Wok Express and Rick & Carolyn's Burgers and Fries. Pretty sure Joe's is still open but the other two aren't.

It is hard to accept that we live in a world where The Town Crier is not still around.

Haven't been there, but our one time to visit Texas Flaming Grill on Ambler just east of Treadaway went well. We would definitely recommend it.

Just looking at the map, Lucy's location looks like it doesn't have great visibility. Is it easy to spot off 27th?

Yes it is.

I also had some good Chinese at Szechuan yesterday. I mean, I lived in Austin for 25 years and wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised how good it was.

I dig Joe Allen's a lot. I also really like Lytle Bend.
