From Sunday to this morning I have had 5.5 inches at my house. My little rain gauge is getting a workout.

7" in Canyon
6.8" inches, near the intersection of South Georgia and Rockwell Road.
Some of my law school classmates are beginning to think that Lubbock is some sort of tropical rain forest. They move from all parts of the country expecting hot, dry, windy, and get hot, rainy, and humid.
