I need my living room and kitchen painted and a little drywall and door frame repair done. Can anyone recommend someone good and trustworthy in Lubbock that they've worked with?

I have used this guy on a rent house I own, had him strip, fill and paint all the wood windows for me last summer. He is NOT someone you want to give a key to the place to, but he did a good job for me last summer. He can be hard to get ahold of sometimes. He looks pretty rough, but did a good job, did not shortcut or try to gouge me for any extra.



Tell him Robert gave you his number. Again, if you want him to work on your place inside, you probably need to have someone there.

There may not be time to do the job right, but there is always time to do the job over!!

I got a couple of leads here at work. Lubbock is building so much it has been hard to find someone.

Found the number of a guy that made some fantastic kitchen cabinets for us about 5 years ago. This guy is NOT cheap, but he is the kind of guy you can give your house keys to and not worry. In fact, he probably still has a set to my house. His workmanship is really good.

Did you ever find a handyman? My father (Class of '76) lives in Lubbock and works as a contractor on the side. He has been a woodshop teacher for over 40 years.

Yes, I did finally find someone to do the work. Thanks for the help all.
