Former Canyon Lumberyard to become Live Music and Entertainment Venue

I feel like Canyon is really finally about to turn a corner.. I know it is to the consternation of many who like it's small town feel, but I think this is a good thing. Canyon has been a small town with a college, but maybe it's becoming a college town. This looks fantastic and I wish it great success.

Cool. With this venue, Canyon could be the Luckenbach of the Panhandle. Sort of.

Saw them working on it today.

Also knew of someone who tried to buy it a few months ago, and this group got it instead.

The biggest drawback is that access is terrible. Maybe it will be a big enough attraction that people won't care.

While I'm one of the old farts who is fine with the old Canyon, it is what it is. WT has improved their campus by leaps and bounds since we first lived here in 1983. It's been good for the community
