today I saw 3 different herds of antelope, probably 25 or so in each group between fourway and Dumas. I'd never seen them in that area before, much less in those numbers. Growing up i did a TON of camping up in that region there not to mention spending way to much time around the river. Is this a relatively new thing?

Not really all that new. We regularly see them on our way to my in-laws in Dumas. Maybe not in groups of 25 but at least 15 in a group.

I wish I knew someone that would sell me the tag to hunt one of them. You guys know of anyone that has a tag they would sell.

I might be able to get about 5 permits this year. I'll post on this forum later this summer if I'm able to get them.

What county would the permits be in and how much do you think you would want. i don't know what the going rate is for permits.

The antelope have always roamed that area. I have rarely seen them on 287 for some reason. I guess they don't like the traffic, but my dad worked on natural gas pipelines on the ranches around there, and when I would go out to the wells with him I regularly saw pretty large herds in that general area.
