rib tickler is good. i'm from the tomball area. their brisket is very lean, but almost to the point of being dry in my opinion.

their bbq chicken is good. their pork loin and turkey breast is good. their ribs are pretty solid.

the best thing about them is they have lots of different things. i would give them a B+ overall on their BBQ.

they have a really good chicken sandwich, and other items, too.

Mo's BBQ has no smoke on it. I think they cook it in the oven. Dude who works with me calls it Arby's because they basically serve roast beef.

Luling City is the only place I go to when I have a craving. Ribs are always good. Brisket is hit/miss. Usually on the miss side. Very expensive. The actual city market in Luling is my favorite BBQ in the world. Louie Mueller is probably #2.

Every other place makes me say, "I won't go back on purpose."

It is weird how Pappas gets kicked around.

I actually think they have pretty good meats, however most of the time I have eaten there, it was from the Gulfgate location which was an original Brisket House.

My main beef with them is their sauce, it is too heavy. Wish they had a couple of sauces as alternatives, maybe a mustard based one.

Their brisket is hit or miss but I think that mostly has to do with the people they have cutting it, they don't know what to cull and what to serve.

Their BBQ chicken is really good, seasoned well, not slimey.
