On Airport RD westbound from I-45, there is a chain called "the Parking Spot". They will get you to the airport in approximately 5 minutes and it's $5.50 or so per day uncovered or $6.25 per day covered.

There's a large garage close to the airport to park at. i would suggest parking there...it's cheaper than 95% of the places by IAH, so it's not a bad deal, especially it's indoors and "safe."

Bumping. Been a few years since I've flown out of hobby. Curious if any of the lots are better than the others these days. Would prefer covered parking

It's now $24/day covered by the terminal.

That said, if you're gone longer than 2 days and live in town, just Uber. It didn't exist when this thread was started and it allays any fears re airport beer(s).

$16.00 a day if you make a reservation. Have your husband do it since you're incapable of doing anything on your own or without asking the internet first.

I've been parking at Parking Spot 2 for over 10 years with no issues. Not covered but it's under $10 a day. Bus pulls out of lot and goes directly across the street to passenger drop-off. They have a second lot with covered parking further down the rode just called The Parking Spot.

I've always parked at the Parking Spot 2. Close and easy to get in and out of. They seem to run a lot of buses.

Can someone explains how valet works at Hobby and other airports?
What is the typical daily price?

I park at Fine Airport Parking directly across from the airport. It's like $12 a day and buses are almost always there, and there with 2 minutes if you're flying in late and need to call.

FYI - The clearance for the Hobby parking garage is 6'-7". I'm glad I learned this today before I tried to park my truck there later this month.

I park my stock F250 4WD on the top of the new garage with zero issues.

Which entrance do you use? The entrance as you come around toward departures says 6'-7".

6'7" is the old garage height. Get your ticket and turn left on the new ramp and go to the top. Plenty of height. I don't think my antenna even hits. When you leave, go out the back of the garage toward airport Blvd away from terminal and you go straight to the ground with no structure overhead.

I took my 2wd short bed f250 in the old garage before they built the new garage. My antenna would hit and driving the corkscrew ramps was no fun.

Word of caution. Just because your truck just fits under the you must be shorter than this metal pole, doesn't mean you won't hit the top of the garage when pulling up to valet.

I had a bad experience.

FYI if you make a reservation online and book early it is 50% off.

Flew out of hobby today and the clearance sign where you get your ticket is 6'7" but as soon as you turn left to go up the ramp the sign says 7'5".

I think the 6'7" is if you going into the old garage
