Just have to say it is nice to have a real pub atmosphere in the Woodlands now, as I seem to frequent it twice a week now.

The food and service is very good for a new place, and the best part for me.. No Smoking!

Smokers can go across the street to the new Baker Street.

Park in the Marriott Parking Garage and the Goose will validate for 2 hours.

It is worth checking out if you are near or in the Bubble.

it's a very nice place. I've been a few times. What part of the pub do you go to....street level or waterway level ?

I've never heard of it...but somehow I think I'd really like it.

because they shipped a bar from Ireland? The place is no different than Fox and Hound just a little higher priced food and a location that will draw a better clientele.

I like it also. 5 dollar beers are a little tough when Baker Street has happy hour until 9 right next door.

It will be great when it warms up a bit, and you can sit along the Waterway.

We did Gooses Acre on Tuesday and Baker Street last night.

And, I just learned the term "Bubble" the other day and I like it.

I tend to move between the two floors, depending on the size of the group I am with, but I see myself outside once the weather get's warmer.

Tjohn,

Fox and Hound is a decent place which I have frequented many times but it is the no smoking that wins me over.. plus technically I was refering to The Woodlands proper having a upscale, non national chain oriented bar that is somewhat of a novelty and something that didn't exist prior to Baker's Street and the Goose coming in.. plus it's new .. just spreading the word.

The history behind the Goose's Acre is pretty neat. And to think that it is now in The Woodlands . . . .

Another loss to Ireland, but our gain.

It's not in the town center, it's on the waterway by the Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center

It's in Town Center. It's not in Market Street.

I've heard the drinks are ridiculous expensive... but i'll pay it for non-smoking!
