the one on 45 and richey road sold us bad chicken for the Holiday Bowl as well. The only good one in H Town is the Woodlands location ran by Wes Dennard.

Yeah, the one at Tidwell is pretty nasty. The best wings in town can usually be had at Buffalo Wild Wings. The Wings N' More in Houston generally bite.

I vote for B Dubs too. I generally avoid the Wings N' Mores here in Houston. Best B Dubs IMHO is 249 and 1960 (Willowbrook). Great set up. Man, we used to practically live there during NFL season.

Didn't know if you all know this but figured I would post it.

All of the WnM in Houston except the one in the Woodlands is owned by a franchise owner. He bought the rights to a certain amount of stores and has done a piss poor job of upholding the standards of what a WnM should be.

As for the one in the Woodlands, this one is just like the one in College Station. That's because Mark's son opened that one.

So if you want WnM and you don't want drive to College Station, you can just drive to the Woodlands and get the same thing.

When those Wings N More first came to Houston, Charlie Kerfeld was involved in the ownership.

I don't believe he is still affiliated with them though.

They should have to post a notice at the door... "WARNING - this is NOT a REAL Wings & More - enter at your own risk".

yes, houston wings and more are run down dumps serving crap for food... AVOID (don't know about the woodlands one, but I can speak to the craphole on 45S near UH, the one on 290, and the one on 59S near sharpstown. They are TERRIBLE!! go to BDubs instead (and I've owned their stock for years and done very well with them, so keep goin! )

yeah, i felt like i walked through a portal into CS when i visited the w&m in the woodlands...complete with howie behind the bar and wes strolling around.

the Wings N Things on Kirby and Main is good, the wings taste like the ones in College Station. Chili Cheese fries are good too.

On the 290 location: I must have gone on a good day, or you must have gone on a bad day. I went there about six months ago, and the wings were good but nothing too special. Not up to par with CS quality Wings N More, but will good at any rate. BW3 = better at any rate here in Houston.

Speaking of which, it is Tuesday..

so that's what Wes is doing these days. he's a good guy to party with.
