If I'm traveling west on I-10 coming towards down town from the East side of town, is there an easy way to access the I-45 HOV lane going North? Or do I have to get off and go thru down town to get on the HOV?

I though there was a left hand entry point right after you get on 45 but I can't see it on Google Earth. Jumping off 10 to enter the HOV from downtown could be time consuming. What's your destination?
There is no direct access. Jump off at San Jacinto and enter off Travis. Takes about 3-minutes tops.
There is direct access if your headed EAST on I-10 and take the I-45N exit. It splits off to the left and merges onto the HOV, or split to the right to get on the main lanes.

Exit Crosstimber on I45 North go under 45 on Crosstimbers stay on Crosstimber to Airline and take a left on Airline go approximately three or four down airline HOV access is on the left before bridge back over railroad .
