I'm going to see 311 at the Woodlands on the 22nd. Last time I went to TW to see a band was DMB in 2000; obviously things have changed.

What are drinks running at CWMP for the concert? Not looking to get hammered, but don't want to have to start a fight if someone spills my $21 glass of wine on my white shirt.

The lots across the waterway are free. I've never had much issue with them.

The gold lot garage looks like it will run $50 if you buy passes now

I've never messed with parking at the mall.

I don't think wine costs $21 but you're looking at around $15 for a drink. I havent been in 2-3 years though.

Other than the gold lot, all the other colors are free. None of them are a very far walk and it should be pretty easy to get out. Just park in the designated parking to avoid getting towed.

60 Vines at Market St has a good wine and cocktail list. Pretty much all their appetizers are good, but the crispy zucchini is fantastic.

Bring a fan and dress comfortably. It's hot and there is very little air circulation under the tent.

Drink selection at the Pavilion is limited. Mostly cheap domestic beer; I think they do have Karbach. I think I saw a Twisted Tea kiosk too. Seems like everyone last week was drinking some variety of Liquid Death

Don't know how much any of it costs as we did not partake.

FYI...That concert is on the 23rd not the 22nd

No clue on parking, but I went to that DMB with a friend on a whim in 2000 and never knew how many women were DMB fans. And their drummer was legit.

We saw DMB in May and paid to park at the mall. There's a roped-off section of the lot on the SW side of the mall close to the Cinemark and Kirby Ice House that's pay to park and a short 8 minutes or so walk to the gates. It was $25-40. The gummy I was enjoying prevents me from recalling the specific amount.

They don't sell bottled water anymore. Only cans of LD. I like LD but not at their prices.

We were wondering about that. Looked around to see if anyone had bottled water. I feel like maybe I saw one or two people, but you are allowed to bring in one clear bag per person up to a gallon in size. So maybe some people brought their own bottled water in that.

if you get there early enough park at Kirby Ice House and pre-game there too. Huge bar with lots of TVs and drink options. They only have 2 food trucks for food options.

Can also park at Market Street garage for free. Right across street from the Pavilion. Plenty of restaurants around as well. No way for them to know where you are going

I won't be drinking wine; I was making a veiled reference to 'tine board history/greatness with the wine/white shirt.

I've only gone to a couple concerts there in the last decade or so, but found the free parking lots and walk much easier to navigate as a sober(ish) adult than I remembered it as a teenager/college student in a big group of friends putting in marathon efforts. Modern concession prices may have something to do with that.

Don't stay home for sure.

One of my kids was born on 3/11 and I kept telling my wife we were going to name her amber after the band 3/11. She didn't find my jokes funny.

Make up some homebrew, turn on your transistor radio and watch some creatures for awhile while waiting for the concert.
