I veleieve if you go up=down more than 2 sizes they "remake" your ring and send it back.

I need to do the same thing but I always forget to figure out what size I need.

I got the same problem. I use it as motivation to lose weight so I can wear it again. It has been 15 years and I'm almost there.

Send it to Balfour. I did that back in 2021 and it came back way quicker than they quoted.

Just a heads up...if you go down more than 2 sizes they won't resize it they will keep the old ring and make a new one.

Man I want my ring repebbeled. I wonderer if it is way too worn to get it cleaned up. Even with 10k my ring has a ton of smooth spots on it.

Free for just a resize, but you have to pay the shipping there and the insurance. Gold is high right now, so you have to insure for the cost of a new ring.

Any jeweler can also do it. It'll void the Balfour warranty, but I wasn't too worried about that. A little place in Tomball resized it for me, down about 2.5 or 3 sizes and I had it back the next day.

I had mine resized and they re-pebbled it. It was an option on the form. I sent it insured to Balfour in Austin per the Association instructions. Quotes 6-8 weeks, got it back in 3.

I had a diamond installed by a third party. Warranty was voided but the charge to resize it wasn't bad. I sent my wife's as well. Both shipped insured to them was $90 because I insured for new replacement cost plus my diamond

Is thay a class of 11 ring??? What the hell you doing to your ring to get it so worn out?!?!

I've seen some worn rings before, but they're usually 40+ years. That happen in 15 years?

It actually happened a bit faster than that because this is my second ring, and the original was lost in the Galveston ship channel.

I think a large portion of the wear is from working on ships and my hand holding on steel railing up and down ladder wells. The wear on the front is from knocking it against steel bulkheads imo. I also do a lot of manual labor around the house and that doesn't help either.

You know it is ok to clean them a bit, right?

Last week I was doing drywall week before that I was doing tile and grout. Painting this weekend. It would take way too much time to clean it after all the stuff I have going on because it's constantly dirty. Instead, I just let it gather a fine patina.
