Pilot's estate (he has insurance)
Airport for staying open

You can look up on the FEC's website. Kurt has given a ton of money to some really terrible people.

As others said, A&I bankrolls Demcrat judges because they are plaintiffs' attorneys and that's good for business. Simple as that.

just because they supposedly support Democrat issues - doesn't mean they deserve to die.

there's a lot of ATC conversations out there now where an allegint airlines flight de-iced and then went back to the ramp just before takeoff because the de-ice already failed. And chatter between the allegiant pilot and a breeze airlines pilot about how their companies are stupid trying to tell them to try to de-ice again and fly out instead of waiting for better conditions.

Another note - one of my children was in 3 year old preschool with one of Tara's children. We never got close to her and Kurt but met them on several occasions. She was an absolute class act. One of my wife's colleagues went to law school with her and had the exact same things to say about Tara. RIP.

I've grown pretty averse to small craft travel.

Lost a buddy in a solo flight while still in our 20's, and have known others that survived crashes or emergency landings. I understand statistical aberrations, but it would probably have to be a real necessity for me to get into something smaller than a commercial shuttle.

yep - I fly on my buddies Citation all the time. It's the only way to travel - turns a five-hour drive into a two beer flight.

My dad was an Army aviator for 20+ years then flew for DOE for another decade or so. He was always nervous about private pilots. His concerns were pilots who didn't fly enough to really be proficient, having to answer to impatient clients, and whether privately owned aircraft were completely maintained. It's an unforgiving occupation when things go wrong.

We're passengers. His two pilots are flying the plane.

He's proficient at driving big boats and top drives - not airplanes .
