Anyone have a good vet for cats in the Pearland area? Getting a little too far to drive to our old vet in the Heights area.

We go to Pearland Pet Health Center right off of 288 and Hughes Ranch Road. The original vet sold out a year or two ago but Dr. Post is great.

+2 on Pearland Pet Center.

Practice was opened by Dr. Manley May twenty years ago who used to be with Sunset Animal Clinic. Been taking our pups there ever since.

+3 for Dr. Post

We used them when we lived in Pearland with no issues.

Dr May and Post were great when I used to go to Pearland Pet Health Center, but May has retired and Post only has maybe 1 day per week that he sees patients. (As of a couple years ago, when I went last)

I've moved my animals to A Paw Above in Manvel. Dr. Eickelman is a good Ag and she seems to genuinely love my pets. The staff remembers us by name when we walk in and it's like a family there. I can't recommend them enough.

That said, it I ever need to have major surgery done, I'll be going back to Pearland Pet Health Center since I believe they are more well equipped for that.

We never seem to have a problem seeing Dr Post for the annual exams. Maybe not so much for the more urgent things.

Also I should note that we are very familiar with Pearland 288 Animal Emergency Clinic as one of ours likes to eat socks so he's had multiple very expensive visits there.
