Are there any old school coin op batting cages left?
It is mindboggling to me that this place is still open. I remember going as a kid shortly after they first opened. I would've never guessed that they would outlast the Target and Toys R Us less than a block away.jetch17 said:

If Speedy's Fast Track on Hempstead Hwy had these, it would be the perfect retro hangout place.

its long gone ... Malibu that is.
some fun nights of puttputt, bumper boats, cages & F1 karts
when the wind blew just right you could smell the woft of cotton candy and the blood pools from the 1983 murders

The mastermind of the killings was a high school classmate of one of my roommates at A&M.
He was voted "Most Likely to Spend Time in Prison" his senior year.

Same...it's a nostalgic time warp. Very few of those remaining. Used to have little league post season celebrations and bday parties there in the 80's and 90's. Happy that place is still in existence and seemingly doing well.jetch17 said:El Gallo Blanco said:

I was gonna say the exact same thing. We still frequent this place a lot con ninos

We used to jump out of them in the old "mine shaft" parts..they had walkways up there...then scare other kids as they slid past.El Gallo Blanco said:Those water slides did not feel very safeJackal99 said:Games People Play FTW, ***** !jetch17 said:

Haha I totally forgot about this. Amazing times. We lived pretty far away, but a few times our mother dropped us off so she could run errands at Willowbrook. I remember being jealous of kids that lived near there.randy828 said:We used to jump out of them in the old "mine shaft" parts..they had walkways up there...then scare other kids as they slid past.El Gallo Blanco said:Those water slides did not feel very safeJackal99 said:Games People Play FTW, ***** !jetch17 said:

My older sister's boyfriend was a lifeguard that worked there, one time after we did this he saw us slide down and asked me if we were up there....No Gregg, we were not. LOL Good times!
