I love how the pic of the first gay parade just happens to be right in front of a Der Wienerschnitzel.

Village Pizza Inn, maybe? It had different names over the years, but I think that was the longest running. I mostly missed out on that.

I remember it as Old San Francisco Pizza or something like that.

I worked there for a couple of summers while I was in school. They closed down right before I graduated.

Many O&G equipment manufacturers had steel and iron works locations all over town. Wyman-Gordon still has one off of 290 and Telge which I was told used to be Cameron's facility back in the day.

According to Wiki, Reliant Energy was not formed until the 2010s...
Also according to Wiki, the Astros did not win any titles (NL West Division) until the 1980s. The left banner is from 1980 and the right banner is from 1986

Cameron Iron Works original plant was at 1000 Silber Road where the Marqee Entertainment center is.

Very cool photos, but yeah definitely several that are a lot older or a lot newer than the 70s. One of the skyline shots had chase tower and a few other skyscrapers built in the early 80s

This poster has a weird account. From inception until 2019 or so most of their posts were fairly normal for a casual Texags user. After that it's nothing but weird links and posts saying "thanks for the links". Gotta think it's a weird seo boost scheme or something
