I always park there. Try entering from the north entrance on Braeswood instead of OST. It's alot quicker. But I don't arrive til 7:30ish, so they may make a difference of the line length

Looked it up and theres been around 25-30 MetroRail fatalities since inception and a whopping 1,528 vehicle collisions since service started in 2004.

Not for me again. We did not make it back to the truck till close to midnight and we left pretty quick after the show. The 610 lot just seems faster.

It's paved-ish. Google satellite view now shows some of the expansion into the Waterworld side if you want to look.

Showtime is whenever Rodeo, Livestock Show, and Cookoff are happening. It's the whole period of Rodeo Events happening on the grounds.

Non Showtime is for the off season for lack of a better term.

so, if I was going to go to the rodeo to see the ranch rodeo at the Arena at 11:00 tomorrow, then the 610 lot is the best place to park? thinking to arrive 10:30 and leave the area by 4:00 to avoid the Friday night rush of people.

Try more like 2:00

May not be rodeo related but normal traffic on 610 and surrounding freeways will start backing up around 3 pm on a Friday.

W. Bellfort and the feeder will probably start stacking up by 3. Bellfort is a suitable East-West route to 288 or the West Loop if you have a little patience.

PSA Gunslinger Salsa will be in the GO TEXAN market in Reliant Center March 8, 9, and 22 at the sample kiosks. The market is down near the inside petting zoo. Stop by and see us and grab a sample if you're in the building.

The way to use the OST lot is ride the bus to the show and walk back to the lot after. It's much quicker than waiting in line for the bus.

To walk back, head north out of the stadium and leave the property via the N Stadium Dr exit. Walk north to OST and one block east to get to the parking lot entrance. Total walk is 15-20 min once you're out of the stadium.
