Are there any good buffets in the area? I know of several places that do a great prix fixe Thanksgiving meal, but I'd like to find a buffet if possible. I appreciate any suggestions. We'll be all adults/teenagers.

Bit of a drive but last year Kim Son was open on Thanksgiving and I believe they have a good buffet.

I appreciate the responses! Unfortunately I'm looking for something nicer with a traditional thanksgiving meal. I haven't been able to find anything online but figured I'd ask just in case.

On a serious note. Cleburne's is not super nice but the food is pretty solid and while not necessarily a buffet, it's a cafeteria (so tons of options). If I had to go out for Thanksgiving, it'd be on the short list.

Just an fyi, Cleburne Cafeteria is very similar to Luby's if you didn't know.

I am just a few days removed from having dined at Vic & Anthony's in Lake Charles. The food was outstanding, and the service was great too.

I've been to Cleburne for the last three years. Prepare to wait in line about an hour. I love that place.

Cleburne is far better than Luby's. Come on.

I wouldn't say "far" better. A little better. I was actually impressed with the last two visits at Lubys near Meyerland. My kids love it.

I should say I always get my usual, the fried fish and sides at both places. They are the exact same crisp and taste (fried fish). Maybe if you're getting the prime rib or baked chicken, there's a big difference. Idk.

I tried to take my parents there last year and it is a giant cluster ****. We didn't even get out of the car. There are old people lined up around the block.

Nah. It's one meal of the year. WGAS.

Our country is fat because of what we eat every day and complete lack of exercise.

McDonalds several times a week is normal. For a lot of people, a "home cooked" meal is throwing frozen chicken nuggets in the microwave.

Then people are also lazy. Can't even walk a couple blocks down the road, have to drive. A coworker and I walk to lunch everyday (about 1-1.25 mile round trip). Everyone acts like we're crazy.
