He doesn't need to change parties, he needs to change jobs.

Damn, Fort Bend County demtards are a disgrace.

To recap:
  • KP lackey and commissioner candidate caught pretending to be someone else on Facebook making up white racism
  • KP caught pretending to be someone else on Facebook also making up white racism
  • KP caught laundering campaign funds, a felony
  • KP switches to Republican party
  • KP loses primary to Daniel Wong
  • KP crapped on a citizen's first amendment right in FB commissioner's court
  • KP removed from office while civil first amendment case is ongoing
  • Wong takes over as interim FB county judge
  • Since KP is convicted felon, no reason to pursue civil first amendment case
  • FB county attorney creates confusion about Wong's legitimacy
  • Two demtard commissioners walk out and say "That's not my county judge"
  • Oh yeah, one of these commissioners is running against Wong in the general election
Sum Ting Wong for sure in Fort Bend County

The opposition to Wong:

County Attorney Bridgette Smith-Lawson

County Commissioner #2 Grady Prestage

County Judge Demtard nominee and County Commissioner #4 Dextor McCoy

KP switched parties so he's now GOP's mess.

I'm still confused on how someone that hasnt been elected by the general population for any position in the county government can be appointed County Judge.

Grady Prestage looks a little soft-baked.

Vacancies are always filled by appointment. Appointing an existing county official can be done, but if you only appointed other officials, it would create a chain of vacancies, appointments, and special elections.

Emmett had never held county office before being appointed Harris County Judge, and it worked out.

Don't disagree with appointing an outsider. But appointing a person who is running as a candidate for the position and who has no previous experience seemed pretty fishy. I get that if he's elected, he would take over with no experience, but the fact that he's a candidate and not just a seat filler is a problem.

The whole situation is a clown show.

It's definitely an unusual situation. I'm not going to pretend I've followed it closely or understand how a district judge ended up making the appointment. Generally, I think interims should be just that. See Abbie Kamin, our newest Harris County Attorney.
