Found a small dead group of these on our dining room window sill yesterday evening, a day after pest treatment. Anyone know if these look more like termites or winged ants?

The termites I remembered seeing in the past seemed to be bigger with longer, straighter wings, but maybe that is just wishful thinking.

If termites, assuming we should get an inspection ASAP? Sucks bc the house is just a few yrs old.

It looks like you have one of those new AI zoom phones. Can't tell what they are but from those images, they don't look like termites to me. You need a pic of one in better lighting that is clearly visible.

Yeah, I have Iphone, but not sure why it is showing like that. Might retry in different lighting in a bit. The ultra zoom does make our window sill look like sh**, and I was hesitant to post, since everyone on Texags are millionaires scheduled to retire before 45.

I don't think they are termites, at least the kind I see. They don't look yellow at all but it is really hard to tell from this photo 100%, at least for me.

Thanks for the feedback...hoping some bug experts can chime in. I know termites are small but I don't remember them being as tiny as these. So small they're hard to properly capture.

If they are at windows they are likely male termites trying to leave to go do their thing. Def get a pest control person in soon.
