Looking for a recommendation for someone to remove a tree that fell on my parent's property.
It's a huge tree that fell (thanks Beryl!) and landed across the swimming pool.

This is in the area of Point Blank/Oakhurst/Onalaska/Riverside.

Don't think I know anybody on that side (or those sides), but there's no shortage of tree crews up around there. Don't pay anyone from the Houston area to drive up.

There are some hyper-local facebook groups where you might be able to find a lead.

Not trying to be a dick, but had this exact same thing happen to my parent's place on Livingston when the rains flooded everything. Had a tree float in that was probably 60 ft and 4 ft in diameter.

I only mention that to say I just went through this and if you have the time, I think you could do this. The tree is already down, so anyone you hire is just going to cut it up. At this point, it isn't about expertise, it is just the time to do it.
