Just for more clarification, I do lightening operations so I essentially crash super tankers together at sea to facilitate transferring oil from one to another. We have fenders between the ships but it is still a pretty wild experience.

Nice. Worked on a pipeline barge for Horizon Offshore Servicdes for many summers to pay for TAMU and law school. It sucked, and I hate the golden triangle area with a passion, particulartly Port Arthur.

Haven't been there in a while, unfortunately. The conditions there are like the area was made for lightering. I've been working in much sportier areas.
