My wife and I are looking to do a pretty big kitchen/guest bathroom/laundry room remodel. It will involve knocking down a load bearing wall so I want to make sure we get a reputable person in on this project. Does the board have any recommendations?

I did a lengthy bid process and landed with Brooks Construction Group. They were great. Aggie owned and operated - Trey Brooks and his project managers are all degrees civil engineers or construction science and they plan and cost things out in great detail. You still have to watch the execution because of the crews that actually do the work, but Trey et al are great about fixing anything along the way and ensuring quality work at a reasonable / good price.
