Have a 2013 that needs some engine work I'm not willing to do. Peddle is the highest offer and reviews seems legit - anyone here have any experience with them?

I've used them and they are legit. Easy and fast.

Have used them twice. Both times the tow driver claimed that the cat converters were not original and knocked the offer down significantly.

The first time it happened I didn't think it was right but wasn't 100% sure so I let it go. The second time felt scammy and I was sure it wasn't correct. I sold it to him anyway but complained to Peddle about it.

To Peddle's credit, they made it right and reimbursed me for the difference between original offer and settled amount.... For both cars.

Tl/Dr - don't be surprised if the tow driver knocks the offer down but you can work with peddle on it.

Was there any concern with the payment (I.e. the check isn't good etc).? When they pick it up I'll be signing over the title and there is a risk the payment isn't valid…I guess that is where peddle comes in? Almost guarantees it in a way?

Sir, this is Houston. The proper way to dispose of autos is the bayou system. If that's not an option, one of the many retention ponds will suffice.

No issues with payment. They are a real company.

I wouldn't worry about payment. May even be in cash, depending on what you are selling them.
