Anyone recommend an appliance repair company that services Katy area?

My mom's washing machine has been possessed and it's beyond my ability to help. TIA

FWIW- it might be more worthwhile to get a new one.

Our 7-year old Maytag washing machine crapped out about 2 weeks ago. I got the repair guy out and it was a fried circuit board. It would have cost me about $500 to fix it myself after a 2 week wait for the part or about $700 for him to fix it, with the same wait. Found the newer, updated model on sale with next-day delivery, set-up, and haul off/disposal of the old washer for about $900.

So we bought a new washing machine.

Yeah, she's in that fun spot of - not an old machine but not under warranty, and it was an expensive machine. Slaton is coming out at 4 to her house, thanks again everyone for the quick responses! We will see what he says and go from there, could be a repair or a new machine depending on issue.

I'd never even heard of Speed Queen until a couple weeks ago.

What is speed queen?

Under the radar commercial brand of washer/dryers that has become increasingly popular do to the way they work and reliability.

They don't play music to let you know they are done but are much simpler machines.
