I am helping my wife redeem some $30k in savings bonds given to her by her late grandmother. No way i am sending those USPS.

We literally just tonight received a USPS package shipped 11/28/23, and tracking showed delivered 12/4/23. What a joke USPS has become.

Just to complain, ordered something on 01/03/24. Shipped from near Dallas to Houston.

Deliver 01/24/24.

3 weeks to move a small box down 45. Impressive.

Whats annoying is the inconsistency with USPS. I use USPS a lot to ship packages every month. I shipped something out in December with 3 day delivery guarantee, and it arrived 3 weeks later. I shipped another package the week after and it arrived in 3 days, way before the other package got there.

Same thing happened this week. The package I delivered this week will arrive in 3 days, meanwhile the package I shipped two weeks ago is still in USPS transit limbo.

I just want some damn consistency lol. They should give us a refund if we pay for 3 day delivery and it arrives 3 weeks later.

I bet the Houston facility is so backed up that they sent truck loads of undelivered mail to Chicago to buy them time while they figured out the sorting problems.

If that's the case, I hope mine went to Chicago. I might get it this month.

Saw USPS out delivering packages in this Saturday evening. They are getting it done today.

Our regular mail routinely arrives between 7 & 8 each evening. Including Saturdays.
