IG post just said a "mass action" where did you get a marathon shutdown?

I didn't volunteer this year owning to being in India, but in years past, they've always been there.

I think the first I remember if them, or a group similar to them, was like 10 years ago. THEY actually tried to disrupt things. IIRC at the beginning before the race as people walked over or right before the start. Like jump the fence and hold up signs and try to get on TV. I got to see police move in and since then, they've just mostly tried to hold up signs near TV shots or along the course with a lot of people.

Hell, the one thing that I remember that caused the most headache was a guerilla marketing attempt by brooks in a parking lot on the finishing chute. Big inflatable that could be seen on the TV. THAT got marathon people to shut down things quickly.
