Was watching coverage on Channel 13 this morning and no mention of any issues anywhere on the route.
Maybe they were somewhere along the route, but to my knowledge no unauthorized persons were on the route or interfered with the race as multiple records fell this morning.
My guess anyone looking to cause trouble was swept up early and if spotted along the route were being very carefully watched and the cameras stayed off of them.

They probably all decided to skip it when they found out the marathon starts early in the morning.
They were there, but it was a peaceful protest. They were on the side of Allen parkway right before you get to downtown. Several cops there as well.
By peaceful I assume that means they burned something down.
I watched the broadcast this morning and didn't see them at all. Very happy to see they got zero attention.

I mean I don't support their cause. And gave them the finger as I ran by. But do appreciate them just standing on the sidewalk off the course holding their signs and chanting their stupid chants. They could've tried to disrupt *****

I misunderstood peaceful.
As htxag09 mentioned they were on the side of Allen Parkway just outside of Downtown on the marathon side.
Plenty of HPD presence making sure they didn't disrupt the event. They were well within their right for what they were doing but it was non eventful.
I honestly thought they were supporting a runner from a country and then realized who they were.
I'm sure they feel good about what they did today but they would have been better off with funny signs and ringing bells for the runners.

I did not even notice them. I thought the plan was to shut down the marathon?? Cowards gonna coward
Gotta wonder how committed they are to the cause if they can't disrupt a marathon.
They decided their strategy is a marathon, not a sprint
