Haven't been to a game since 2020. What is traffic like getting to Kyle Field?

Is leaving Katy at 8am too early? Would like to be seated at ~20 minutes prior to kickoff.

It's 1.5 hours. I wouldn't leave any later than 8 with the Corps stepping off at 9:30. You can always get in a quick Bloody Mary at the hotel bar. Be in your seats at least 30 minutes before so you don't miss pregame.

I typically leave around 7 for an 11 game. That gets me there with plenty of time to spare, I get to hang out at my BIL's tailgate on the west side of Reed, and will typically leave the tailgate by 10 to be inside Kyle in time for the flyover.
