I've been fighting a quad issue near my hip for over 3 months since a workout injury and I don't know who to go see about it. Any recommendations for sports medicine doctors in Katy or west Houston?
Thanks y'all!

I don't have a sports dr recommendation, but if/when you get to PT dr.

Go see CeCe. She's at I-10 and Eldridge.

You may want to check in with her and go see her and she can tell you if you should go see a dr and who.

She got my wife through a crazy bad ankle break / surgery / rehab. She got me through 9 months of shoulder PT for torn labrum and torn rotator cuff due to a skiing crash where I actually was able to avoid surgery and have gotten back to 100% weight lifting.

I've also seen her for other misc tweaks over the years and she has always gotten me through it. Probably about to start going to her for some neck issues.

It sounds like Airrosti may be a good option for you. I have been to Michael Simon at the Memorial City location for a few different things, and I definitely recommend him.

Either way, going with something that is more movement and strength based like PT or Airrosti is likely a better option than a sports doctor. The doctor is more likely to go with conservative rest and then send you to PT after that. A PT or Airrosti will send you the doctor if they find that you need something more than they can do - i.e. MRI.
