I don't know if it's going to be a great "Halloween" place, but there's a cluster of bars that young people from the burbs or wherever bus into now, so there will probably be lots of people out and some in costume. I'd imagine tonight will be bigger than real Halloween night, but who knows.

Look at the cluster of bars on the map on 19th and 20th, between Bevis St. and Beall. And take an Uber if you do down there.

I always thought the adult American Halloween was reluctantly drawing straws to see who takes the kids trick or treating and who stays back and tries to scare the kids bussed into the neighborhood taking handfuls of candy where the sign clearly says take 2.
All this time we coulda been barhopping.
