Any recommendations for a fair priced locksmith to program a couple of FOBs for a Toyota?

Took the two FOBs to a locksmith and he was not able able to program, "it wouldn't take" and he said to try another locksmith.

Just had to reprogram mine after swapping the battery. Not sure what the back story is here but if it's the same fob you've always had, use the valet key in the fob or if you have the "switchblade key" use that. Insert the key into the door, then lock and unlock it some 10 times. It should recognize the fob and pick it back up.

If this is a new fob, that's a different story. Good luck!

The guy that owns Safeco in Atascocita on fm 1960 is good. If he doesn't go to your area maybe he knows who does. 832-233-5594

When I have bought used cars, I usually get extras at ACE Hardware. They Have/Order a Fob and then spend 2- minutes programing it with your car. Always had a working fob.
